Tammie has always loved the travel industry. She began her hospitality career early, working for numerous hotels and restaurants. She complemented her experiences by graduating Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech's Hospitality & Tourism Management department. Tammie started her hotel sales career with Hyatt Hotels and also worked for Hilton Hotels, before joining HelmsBriscoe in early 2000.Tammie enjoys working with HelmsBriscoe, where she can apply her industry knowledge and experiences to benefit her clients. She is dedicated to the needs of her clients and strives to make their jobs easier. Tammie provides excellent customer service, to include assistance with hotel contract negotiations (an area that Tammie particularly enjoys). She ensures that her clients are signing the most thorough and ethical contracts possible. Tammie values her relationships with her clients and likes developing new partnerships to share more of HelmsBriscoe's extensive free services.
Tammie books over 120 meetings a year for her nationwide client base - consisting of various corporations, religious organizations, associations and government agencies. She values the opportunity to travel to new places and expand her hotel knowledge. Tammie was awarded the HelmsBriscoe President's Club Award for production every year since 2002 and has earned her Certified Meeting Planner designation.
