Timothy Bennett joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2016. Based in Tampa Bay, Florida, Timothy has more than 12 years of event planning and hospitability experience. Before opening his own event management company, Timothy worked for several Fortune 500 companies, including Disney, Macy's, and Whole Foods Market. Through these experiences, he has gained a deep understanding of how to execute his clients' objectives, select the perfect venues, and negotiate contracts.
Timothy is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and in 2014, he was invited to join the Board of Directors for MPI's Tampa Bay Chapter as the Director of Marketing and Communications. Because of his strong work ethic, Timothy was selected to be the Vice President of Strategic Alliance, securing more than 20 programs yearly for the chapter. In 2015, Timothy was recognized as the Meeting Professional of the Year by his peers for successfully exceeding chapter expectations. Currently, Timothy is a member of the MPI Global Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, and when he is not working, he loves spending time with his friends and family, and traveling the world.
