Tarannum Banatwalla

Tarannum Banatwalla joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2022. Based out of London, England, she is committed to making your local and global venue finding process, no matter how large or small, as seamless and efficient as possible. Her key strengths are her intuitive people skills, her desire to put the best interests of her customers first, her tenacity for sourcing and negotiating the best deals for her clients, a positive mindset, and a genuine willingness to find win-win solutions. She is great at building new professional connections that turn into long-standing relationships.

Tarannum has over 20 years of international hospitality experience, having worked in India, England, and South Africa. She has a degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, India, as well as an MBA in Marketing. Her first job was with Taj Hotels, selling to the corporate business travel segment. She then moved to London and joined Hilton as Sales Manager, where she oversaw MICE sales for three London hotels for six years. She then moved to Durban, South Africa, where she decided to start her own corporate catering business, which she ran for 13 years while working with clients like Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Price Water House Coopers, KPMG, Netflix, Sumitomo Tyres, Jaguar, Land Rover, and many others. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, Tarannum worked as Key Account Manager - MICE at Millennium Hotels.
