Sheila Dizon-Burns joined HelmsBriscoe with more than 20 years of experience in the event planning and finance industries. Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, she founded Event Solutions in 2000 to pursue her love of event planning and design. Sheila also worked as the VP of Private Securities Group at SharesPost, Inc. where she executed multi-million dollar sales and transfers of pre-IPO company stocks.
Having graduated from San Francisco State University with a BS in Business Administration in Marketing, Sheila's endless adoration for the Bay Area bound her to continue living in the beautiful city with her husband Michael and affectionate pugs, Benjamin and Franklin. As a fervent traveler, she understands the importance of finding the perfect venue and negotiating the best value for her client's room blocks, whether it is a wedding, a social gathering, or a corporate event. Outside of work, Sheila enjoys colors, the unwavering elegance of all things that sparkle, warm beaches, the feel and fit of a perfect pair of jeans, tasty treats, and vodka martinis. She has an avid appreciation for the finer things in life, but also an affinity for life's simple pleasures.
