Rebecca Shaffer joined HelmsBriscoe in 2015. She is based out of St. Augustine, Florida, and works as Director, Global Accounts. Her extensive experience in meeting planning and negotiations is combined with the collective knowledge of HelmsBriscoe, the preeminent site selection firm providing a network of more than 1,500 Associates in 60 countries. As a top producer, she earned the HelmsBriscoe President’s Club award in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Having lived in California, Hawaii, and now Florida, Rebecca had more than 15 years of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry before joining HelmsBriscoe. She has held positions in sales and marketing for Hilton, Starwood, Marriott, and independent properties, and also performed in many hospitality management capacities in both San Diego, California, and St. Augustine, Florida. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Business Travel Association as Vendor Director, Director of Education, and Vice President, and she is also active in Meeting Professionals International.
