Robert Harrison - Associate Regional Vice President
Rob Harrison joined HelmsBriscoe as Associate Regional Vice President for London and the South East of the UK in 2014. Based out of St. Albans, Rob is responsible for the leadership and development of the London and South East team in the UK. Rob believes that with strong mentorship and guidance, the team will continue to grow and to service Clients at the high levels required while upholding the HelmsBriscoe philosophies.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Rob’s career in event management first started with positions in Ireland and then Latin America, giving him valuable international experience. He obtained a BSc in Business Information Technology from Westminster University and went on to create a technology company servicing the conference market. He has worked at the leadership level for a global conference management company and also as CEO of a UK-based association and event management company. In addition, Rob has been involved in supporting the start-up of an event management company in Latin America, as well as a publishing company in the UK. Rob is a member of MPI and has been active in the events industry in the UK for many years. Rob holds mentorship and personal development as the key aspects of his role, and honesty and openness as his foundation values. Seeing the growth and development of others is his main driving force.
