Nicole Hernandez - Senior Director, Global Accounts
Nicole Hernandez joined HelmsBriscoe in 2003, and has risen to the top tier of Associates worldwide for the organization. She has repeatedly been recognized as a President’s Club and Master’s Club award winner, and she brings with her nearly 30 years of meeting planning experience. Her introduction into the industry began in 1986 when she was working for a CPA firm and studying Information Systems and Accounting at San Diego State University. She was asked to join a team as the Lead Systems Engineer tasked with designing and implementing an Event Management System for one of the world’s largest trade show management companies.
Nicole has also served as Director of Operations and Client Relations for a full-service housing, registration and travel company, and as an Event Manager for a London-based organization that produces brand protection and anti-counterfeiting events around the world. Her strong business acumen, combined with extensive and varied industry experience from both the supplier and planner side, allows her to readily relate to the unique needs of a diverse clientele. She has traveled the world planning and managing conferences, working with both domestic and global Clients with whom she builds very strong relationships. Her current Client base includes associations, the government, and a Fortune 150 company that she has worked with since 2004. During this time, she has been instrumental in consolidating their meeting spend worldwide, saving them upwards of $2 million dollars per year. This wide range of experience makes Nicole a standout in the industry and a valued member and contributor to the HB team. Nicole resides in Denver, Colorado.
