Mariella Smith

Mariëlla Smith-Bronneberg joined HelmsBriscoe in January 2003. As a Dutch national born in Maastricht, married to an Englishman and living in France (based in the French Alps near the Swiss border of Geneva), she is truly a "European" citizen. Mariëlla handles many international searches for Clients based in Switzerland, France, EMEA regions and the USA. Inspired by the strength of the HelmsBriscoe international network, Mariëlla is one of the top European producers. Her team spirit, ambition to serve to perfection and truly international/global way of working allows her to work beyond all frontiers. She believes in achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing her Clients with the collective knowledge of the HB network and its combined negotiation power. Attention to detail, perseverance, as well as hard work are the keys to her Clients’ success.

After obtaining her Hotel Management degree (The Hague, The Netherlands), Mariëlla has gained more than 20 years of hotel management experience working for THF in London and for a leading five-star convention center in Annecy, France. Her experience as a sales manager has allowed her to travel worldwide and understand the hotel business as well as contract negotiations. She has several awards as a top producer and rising star and is also sharing her knowledge and experience with fellow Associates. Mariella believes in the power of networking and sharing best practices, and her positive outlook on life makes her an ideal partner for all events and teaming opportunities!
