Melissa joined HelmsBriscoe in October of 2000. As Senior Director, Global Accounts, she concentrates on hotel site selection, contract negotiation, and meeting management. Melissa specializes in the corporate and mid-tier association markets for both domestic and international programs. Melissa received HelmsBriscoe's prestigious President's Club Award for seven consecutive years, which reflects her strong commitment to her clients.
Melissa has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, gained through exposure to front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house operations for numerous group functions involving restaurants, hotels, and catered events. Melissa holds a B.S. in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of South Florida, as well as a Culinary Arts degree from the Johnson & Wales University. Melissa lives with her family and Yellow Labrador in Nokomis, Florida, and enjoys gardening, boating, cooking, traveling, and relaxing with her family and friends.
