Maribeth Kraus joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2023, and is based out of East Williston, New York, part of the New York metropolitan area. She’s been in your shoes, understands the demands on you, and is committed to leveraging her extensive hospitality industry background and knowledge to support her event planning clients and find the perfect hotel venues for their meetings.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Maribeth has worked as the Director of Convention Programs for the Modern Language Association where she was responsible for the planning and execution of their annual citywide convention of 8,000 to 10,000 attendees, as well as smaller subject-focused enclaves. She also served as Director of Exhibits and Continuing Education for The Society of Nuclear Medicine. Maribeth currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New York chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She has a BA from Queens College, the city university of New York, and an MA from George Washington University.
