Mary Jo Malone has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Her career has spanned cities across the U.S., including Florida, Texas, Chicago and now her home of Atlanta, Georgia. Mary Jo has held executive sales and marketing positions with Forte Hotels, Westin Hotels, and the Swissotel Chicago. She also served in the Atlanta global sales office for Omni Hotels. She is a seasoned hotel professional with experience in managing client account relationships, leading sales teams, and managing all aspects of sales and marketing processes.
Mary Jo's career highlights and accomplishments include being named the 1990 inaugural recipient of Meeting Professional International's Chapter Leader of the Year award, as well as a five-time nominee for the Supplier of the Year award for the Dallas Fort Worth chapter. She is also a past president of the MPI DFW chapter, and held a three-year appointment to the MPI Foundation Board of Trustees. Mary Jo enjoys being outside, spending time with friends, roller blading, reading and driving to the north Georgia mountains.
