Mara Bonfeld

Mara Bonfeld joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in October of 2023. She enjoys the fast-paced rhythms of New York City, where she is based, and where she has sat on the board of the Greater New York chapter of Meeting Professionals International. Her effervescent personality contributes to communication skills that allow her to create and maintain industry relationships and foster confidence in clients. Mara’s attention to detail earned her the nickname “Eagle Eyes” from colleagues.

After graduating from Smith College with a degree in Economics, a concentration in Studio Art, and special studies in Calligraphy, Mara began her career in event planning in New York at The Conference Board more than 25 years ago. She moved on to several other companies before landing at QED Communications, a medical communications company. Mara created two hotel sourcing manager positions for herself, and was recruited by one of the GSO’s she worked with to replace her as a sales manager. Mara went to work at Krisam Group and became a successful team member, selling with the attitude that she would sell only the way she wanted to be sold to. She looks forward to continuing that kind of relationship with her clients at HelmsBriscoe.
