LaTanya Newell

LaTanya Newell, CMP, joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2024. Based out of Orlando, Florida, she enjoys being an extension of her clients' teams, finding them appropriate hotel accommodations and event space for their global meetings and conferences. LaTanya is a Certified Meeting Professional and has been in the industry for more than 15 years. She has served as a board member with the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals, as well as other professional education organizations. Learning her clients' missions, objectives, and needs gives her an advantage when working with hotel brands, which results in saving her clients valuable time to focus on other important aspects of their events.

LaTanya is experienced in planning events for a variety of groups, including corporations, associations, social groups, and religious organizations. LaTanya has received several accolades for exceeding the needs of her clients. Her broad experience working with a multitude of diverse groups has assisted her in remaining on the cutting edge of industry trends. In addition, her in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and hotel operations makes her the perfect fit to assist with the most complex agendas.
