Leila Conner joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in November 2016. Having worked with HelmsBriscoe as a hotel supplier since 1992, Leila was amazed at the resources the company offers Associates in order to support their team and their customers. She knew the tools provided by HelmsBriscoe, combined with her 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, would go far in helping to provide a valuable service to her clients.
Leila began her career as a Convention Services Manager for nine years. She has worked with clients in every market, including city-wides, associations, corporate, social/religious, education and military groups. In 1996, she earned the prestigious CMP designation, and became an instructor for a local study group. She later moved into sales where she worked as a Senior Sales Manager and a Director of Sales with several brands, including Westin, Doubletree by Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham and Homewood Suites. Her interests include travel, music, art, theater and tennis. She loves showcasing her hometown of New Orleans, and never misses an opportunity to participate in all it has to offer.
