Kalani Nakoa joined HelmsBriscoe as Director, Global Accounts in 2019. Based out of Maui, Hawai'i, Kalani provides high-level service to clients who seek personal attention and quality experiences. Decades of work with a variety of clients from North America, Europe, Asia and Australia have given Kalani the resources, tools and contacts to create unique programs. Clients admire Kalani's authenticity, warm spirit, solid work ethic, professionalism, and impeccable organizational and communications skills.
With more than 40 years of industry experience, Kalani has worked in Hawaii's tourism industry for the state's largest and most important properties as a Director of Sales & Marketing. Kalani has garnered a vast knowledge of the meeting, convention and incentive markets from his involvement in Hawaii's hospitality industry boards. He has also worked with a variety of national organizations, including Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI).
