Kathy has over 26 years experience in the hospitality industry. She began her career in the "back of the house" at the hotel property level and worked on the hotel side for 19 years. During this time she held Management positions in the Food & Beverage, Rooms and Sales departments. She attributes her success with her HelmsBriscoe clients to this diverse, hands on experience early in her career. With this hotel background she has a good understanding of how hotels work and what they can and cannot provide to her clients. This along with persistence have proven successful to her HelmsBriscoe career.
Kathy is a Certified Meeting Professional. She is a member of the Ohio Chapter of Meeting Professionals International and was awarded the Planner of the Year in 2003-2004. Kathy is a charter member of Executive Women International -Dayton Chapter and has held positions on both the EWI Board of Directors and OHMPI for several years. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and resides in Dayton, Ohio with her husband and 2 children.
