Kathy joined HelmsBriscoe as National Account Manager in April 2001. After graduating from the University of South Carolina she began her career in the hospitality industry on Hilton Head Island, SC. It was here while working for Sea Pines Plantation and Mariner's Inn that she developed her skills and knowledge of the meeting and incentive markets. Kathy held positions in reservations, front desk, catering, conference services, and sales. The allure of returning to her native state resulted in a move to Florida where she was affliated with Innisbrook Resort, Walt Disney World Resort and Saddlebrook Resort.
As a member of the HelmsBriscoe team Kathy shares with her clients not only her years of experience with contract negotiations and how the hotel industry works but also the collective knowledge of HelmsBriscoe. This combination has resulted in a broad range client base that includes major corporations and associations from across the United States. Kathy takes pride in assuring her clients that their meeting needs will be met with accurate and timely information backed by personal customer service.
