Judy Smadu joined HelmsBriscoe as Director, Global Accounts in 2017. Based in the greater Detroit, Michigan area, Judy's goal is to become a trusted advisor to her clients. Judy is customer-focused, driven, detail-oriented, and solution-motivated. Her personal goal is to find ways to help others every day.
With more than 28 years of industry experience in sales and account management, Judy's professional background ranges from on-property and regional office positions to global sales and senior management roles. Judy has worked with several hospitality companies, including Marriott, Hilton, Peabody Hotels, the San Francisco CVB, and ACCESS Destination Management. She began her career in in Portland, Maine, and continued to work throughout Atlanta, Chicago, Des Moines, the Caribbean, Mexico, and now Detroit. Her strong communication skills, coupled with years of experience with hotels, contracting, and negotiations, will help her clients achieve success.
