Heather brought 20 plus years of experience in the hospitality industry with her when she joined HelmsBriscoe in May 2006. Her Clients - corporate and associations- love her passion and attention to detail, not to mention her expertise in venue selection and contract negotiations. It comes as no surprise to Heather's Clients that she has won the HelmsBriscoe President's Club award every year since 2009. She earned a Bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional management from Virginia Tech, then worked at hotels and resorts in the areas of F&B management, conference planning and sales.
Heather has also used her communication, organizational and leadership skills in groups such as Meeting Professionals International, Executive Women International, the Virginia Society of Association Executives, and Rotary International. She also enjoys fundraising for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and the American Legion's Legacy Run scholarship program.
