Gloria Sloan joined HelmsBriscoe in 2008 after 25 years of entrepreneurial experience as an independent meeting planner and small business owner. Her passion is helping others strengthen relationships for growth and development. She demonstrates her ability as a Global Accounts Manager by facilitating an effective role in meetings procurement. She has a mastery of business and conference management skills that has proved resourceful in her Client relations and as a liaison with Industry Partners. She offers an enthusiastic approach for Client solutions by using her communications and marketing background in negotiating the most favorable recommendations based on matched criteria.

Her business progression of executive search and employment recruiting services pioneered a professional career in meeting and event planning. She helped develop programs for life skills, career planning and pre-employment job training. These innovative programs later produced a national training series to include team building and leadership development. This later crafted business skills and knowledge into a career providing conference management services. In 2005 she served as a national presenter for HSMAI's (Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association) Affordable Meetings.
