Gretchen Hopkins

Gretchen Hopkins joined HelmsBriscoe as a Regional Manager in 2008. Having earned the prestigious "President's Club" Award each year since 2010, Gretchen is now a Senior Director of Global Accounts. She has extensive experience in both domestic and international site selection and contract negotiations as many of her clients hold international meetings. Gretchen enjoys "partnering" with her clients and feels building a strong relationship and loyalty is the key to client retention. Gretchen assists her clients with many phases of the planning process providing services based on their individual needs. Ensuring her clients of the most successful and memorable event, while assuring the meeting budget is maintained, is of utmost importance. Gretchen started her professional career in Atlanta with Westin Hotels and Ritz-Carlton, and has spent over 30 years in the hospitality industry with experience in hotel sales and conference services. Additionally, Gretchen was an independent corporate meeting planner for seven years. This blend of hotel and meeting planning experience allows Gretchen to provide clients with excellent insight and creative solutions.
