Consuela D. Hooblal joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2020. Based out of Queens, New York, she is looking forward to bringing HelmsBriscoe's global reach and unsurpassed experience to her clients. She was a recipient of 15 HSMAI's Best of the Best awards, the President's Award in 2018, as well as the USA TODAY's Employee of the Year award. Consuela makes it easy to do business with her, and she will work to understand your needs to deliver beyond your expectations.
Consuela has more than 13 years of industry experience. As USA TODAY's Regional Sales Manager, she was responsible for all hotel partners in the northeastern region. Most recently, she was the Business Development Manager and then Group Sales Manager for The Roosevelt Hotel. This experience gave her insight and knowledge of selling and overseeing large events and international, government, corporate, and cultural groups. Consuela is a past president, current board member, and V.P. of Professional Programming for The Greater New York Chapter of HSMAI. She is also a proud graduate of St. John's University and a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society, Delta Rho Chapter.
