Alexandria Oates

With more than 10 years of industry experience, Alex has built a strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on client support and satisfaction, adding a unique perspective as a Military spouse. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe in January of 2017, Alex had a broad range of experience, including working for PSAV (now Encore), during which time she managed hotel sales at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee; oversaw regional sales based in Raleigh, North Carolina; and later moved into global sales and account management with PSAV Central. As a dedicated member of MPI, Alex enjoyed serving as chair of the Membership Committee for MPI's Carolinas Chapter.

In late 2016, Alex and her family relocated to Stuttgart, Germany, where she launched her career with HelmsBriscoe, allowing for a wonderful opportunity to expand her global portfolio and support HB clients internationally. Alex's passion for the hospitality industry, continuous education, on-site experience, and superior client engagement have proven to set her apart. In recent years, Alex has returned to the United States, where her husband recently completed his MBA at Harvard Business School. With her return to her Midwest roots, Alex looks forward to providing amplified exposure for her stateside hotel partners and clients.
