Amy Martell, CMP, CASE - Associate Vice President
Amy C. Martell joined HelmsBriscoe in October 1995. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science & Journalism, she spent 13 years working in the convention and visitor bureau industry, most recently opening the Nashville CVB’s Washington, DC office, before joining the ranks of HelmsBriscoe. During her time with HB, Amy has won the HelmsBriscoe President’s Club award in ’97 and ’98; the Master’s Club award in ’02, ’03 and ’04; the Chairman’s Club award (top three producers in the company) in ’99, ’00, ’01, ’05, ’06, ’07, ’09, ’10, and ’11; and the Rainmaker award (top producer in the association market) in ’12, ’13, ’14, ’15 '16, '17, ’18, ’19 and ‘20. In August 2008, she was named one of the inaugural members of the HB Hall of Fame.
Amy and her team book more than 250 meetings per year in locations all over the world for a wide variety of corporate and association clients. Amy is founder of the HB Working Mothers, a networking group for HB Associates and their clients who are working moms. She is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and a Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE), as well as a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and an active supporter of the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives (CESSE). She serves on both the PCMA 2017 Foundation Auction Subcommittee, as well as the PCMA 20 in their Twenties Application Review Committee.
