Sandi joined HelmsBriscoe in 2007 following a 22 year career in association management and meeting planning for the United States Twirling Association (USTA). As President of the association, she also served as the C.E.O of three World Baton Twirling Championships hosted by the United States. She has also traveled extensively throughout the world working as an executive officer for the World Baton Twirling Federation. She established a website for the USTA in 1996 and developed a comprehensive online membership and competition entry registration for the association's website. She managed the association's committees and a nearly million dollar budget but her main focus was promoting association benefits to prospective members through meetings and events. Negotiating with convention & visitor's bureaus, venues for events, hotels and hotel staff, involved tedious coordination that fit well into a site selection service company.
