Shang Hur - Manager, Global Accounts
Shang Hur joined the HelmBriscoe team in August 2010. Over a span of 18 years in the hotel industry, she has built and maintained many solid relationships with her clients and hoteliers. She is known for her strong work ethic and passion for her clients’ needs. With the combination of her relationship driven style, commitment to service excellence and tactical business solutions, she is consistently able to exceed the expectations of her clients.
Shang began her hotel career with Four Seasons in 1992, committing eight years to the brand on and off in various sales roles in Southern California, including in the worldwide sales office and as an on-property sales manager. She had also contributed her hotel sales career, having been recruited most of the time, to work with Le Meridien Hotel, Doubletree/Hilton Hotels and Mondrian/Morgans Hotel Group during the ten years in between. She contributes her time and expertise to the industry as an active Board member of Meeting Professionals International Southern California as a Director of Special Events and Chair of Community Outreach, and was awarded “Planner of the Year” in 2013. She has traveled all over the globe based on where her market would be located and has an expansive knowledge of the various hotel groups through her experience.
