Michelle Rayburn - Associate Regional Vice President
Michelle Rayburn joined HelmsBriscoe as Director, Global Accounts in 2017. Based out of Houston, Texas, Michelle works with her clients to find the best venues for their offsite meetings and events. Michelle’s role on the HelmsBriscoe leadership team also gives her the opportunity to recruit, train and mentor other Associates in Houston. Her successful hospitality background and industry connections allow her to deliver tailored results to her clients in order to exceed their expectations.
Michelle graduated from Santa Clara University in California, and started her hospitality career at The St. Regis in Houston, with roles in catering, group sales, business travel, and the front office. Following that, she joined the Starwood Memorial City Complex, where she worked in sales for the Four Points by Houston Memorial City and Sheraton Houston West. Michelle also worked in sales for the Westin La Cantera in San Antonio, and stayed on through the hotel’s transition to Destination Hotels and Resorts, before moving on to work for La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa as a Senior Sales Manager. Michelle is passionate about the meeting and event industry, and she actively participates in the Houston area chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
