Julie S. Nack Locke, CMP, CMM - Regional Vice President
Julie S. Nack Locke, CMP, CMM began her career with HelmsBriscoe in 2001. Julie’s responsibilities include developing and training the New England team, vendor relationships, and most importantly, client care. Julie has worked with a variety of accounts, including pharmaceutical, corporate and association, both nationally and internationally. She has assisted large accounts in strategizing on their SMM and sourcing needs, along with creating efficient processes. She feels that it is essential to develop strong professional relationships with all her clients and hotel partners. Her expertise in site selection and contract negotiations, combined with her attention to detail and dedicated service, consistently helps her clients and gains their trust, continued support and loyalty. The teamwork she and her clients build together, along with HelmsBriscoe’s buying power and collective knowledge, has resulted in a powerful and successful combination.
Since joining HelmsBriscoe, Julie has earned the Master's Club award seven times and the President's Club award six times. She was also the Top Producer for HelmsBriscoe ResourceOne. She earned her Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM) in 2014 and her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2001. Julie continues to help and support other meeting professionals with their professional development and in earning their CMPs. Julie was on the board of directors of the New England Chapter of MPI for 10 years and is very passionate about the organization. Her continued volunteerism led her to win the Chapter Leader Award in 2004, Meeting Professional of the Year in 2009, and President's Award in 2009. Julie obtained her degree at University of Massachusetts in the business school with a major in Hotel Restaurant and Travel Administration and a minor in Japanese.
