Angela Turner-Carruthers

Angela Turner-Carruthers joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2023. Based out of Alpharetta, Georgia, she uses her experience and hospitality relationships to find the right venue to align with her clients’ meeting specifications. She possesses a quiet confidence and applies the same dedication and effort to each event, whether it’s for a group of 10 or 10,000. Because of her ability to successfully collaborate with clients and vendors, Angela makes those she gets to work with feel like they have a partner, not just planner.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Angela has worked most of her career as a meeting and event planner for non-profit organizations. Most recently, she was employed with Victory Church in Norcross, Georgia, as their Director of Events. In this role, she led a talented event team and supported events across four church campuses in Georgia. Prior to relocating to the Atlanta area from Chicago in 2013, she earned her CMP designation and managed meetings for Feeding America, as well as The University of Chicago – Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Because of her extensive history in meetings and events, Angela understands the goals, expectations, and responsibilities of meeting planners.
