I am dedicated to saving meeting planners a great deal of time in site selection, while getting the best possible results, and staying within budget. Before joining HelmsBriscoe, I provided customized lighting services for corporate meetings and events, and then went on to manage facility rentals in a major museum. In these roles I gained an insight into providing the best environment to achieve the planner's goals for each unique meeting. With HB's state-of the -art computer data and RFP systems, our international network of associates giving me current and unbiased reports on local properties, and the purchasing power of HelmsBriscoe, I provide my clients with better information and value than they could otherwise get, and in a fraction of the time. I am a part of my clients' team, with no charge for my service. I save my clients time, helping them make the best choice to achieve the best possible results.
Throughout my career, I have supported high professional standards in the convention industry. I was co-founder and President of the South Florida / Caribbean Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and served as Ethics Chairman on the ISES International Board. I have also been a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 1994, and have achieved the designation of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Convention Industry Council.
