Darla joined the St. Louis HelmsBriscoe Team in May 2007 and comes to us with a well-rounded Hospitality background. Prior to HelmsBriscoe, she has 28 years of experience in the Hotel, Event Management and Travel Industry. She spent 8 years with a St. Louis hotel chain in various positions ranging from Reservation Management & Sales to Director of Guest Services followed by an exciting 20 year career with Maritz Travel Company as a Senior Travel Project Manager. She has a CMP accreditation and is an active member of MPI and SLAMPI.
Darla has traveled extensively throughout her career and contains a vast amount of hotel, destination and product knowledge in both domestic and International cities. Darla's exceptional customer service, strong negotiation skills and industry experience combined with the tools provided by HelmsBriscoe allow her to efficiently provide the results her clients deserve and expect for their business meetings, incentive travel programs, trade shows, corporate retreats and high-end board meetings.
